Angel Rendon leaves frontline trash lifted with right wrist inflammation
On May 29, Japan time, the Angels announced that third baseman Anthony Rendon was placed on the disabled list due to an inflammation of his right wrist. Rendon said he was uncomfortable with a right wrist swing during an outside corner kick in the second half of the sixth inning against the Blue Jays on the 27th. Although he continued to play, he left the field after complaining of pain in his right wrist and an MRI showing inflammation. Plus, with Rendon’s disabled list, right-handed Jensen Garbage has moved from AAA-level Salt Lake City to Major League Baseball.
